The
Lasik Lasers used these days for surgeries are called excimer laser. The
name excimer derives from (excited and dimer). When the laser is
electrically stimulated it produces ultravilet light. These ultraviolet
excimer lasik lasers are cool lasers and “cut” organic substances, due
to the fact that the amount of energy which is supplied to a surface is
too much too absorb for most organic substances. This results in a
breakdown of the molecular bonds in the substance the lasik laser hits. |
